Permaculture Design Course (PDC)

Permaculture from the Inside Out
The focus of our permaculture design course is on growing permaculture people and places. Our PDC offers an inclusive, hands-on heart-in experience. We believe that the inner conditions of the designer are as relevant to the process of social change as the outer conditions, so our curriculum includes addressing the obstacles that keep us from having proactive relationships with one another. You can be sure you’ll get the ground-breaking basics offered in every PDC, with the addition of somatic skills, community arts, ceremony and place-making opportunities offered throughout. You'll also be part of the conversations we need to repair the systemic social issues that separate us.

We see little gap between developing a reverent relationship to the earth and a commitment to social justice. Both arise from a deep recognition of our interconnectedness. We are as likely to work on designing an efficient waste water system as we are to expand our personal and collective capacity around issues of race, class, gender and cultural indoctrination. Our PDC is a bit longer than the traditional 72-hour training, and is guaranteed to be an inspiring, challenging and richly rewarding experience.
